Pacific Harbour’s Celebrity Golf Challenge

Over 100 players will join 10 celebrity golfers at a charity golf day at Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club tomorrow at Bribie Island.

Celebrity golfers attending include Alan Border, Andrew Slack, Classic Wallaby WS (Bill) Ross, Origin and Kangaroo Legend Gary Belcher, Olympic Gold Medallist Ashley Callus, Olympic Gold Medallist Natalie Cook, Julie McDonald OAM, Grand Slam Wallaby Tommy Lawnton, Ex Reds and Wallaby Coach John Connolly, Classic Wallaby Anthony Herbert, and Powderfinger’s JC.

The event, arranged by celebrity poet Rupert McCall, will benefit Australian servicemen and women returned from war and conflict zones like Afghanistan. The day will raise funds for servicemen and women who have been badly affected psychologically or physically.

Several of these heroes will join in the play tomorrow which commences at 11am. RSL President Terry Meehan will also be attending tomorrow’s event at Pacific Harbour.
